Bring your computer and follow along. In this session, we will teach you how to use Copilot Chat, which is free for anyone to use. Copilot Chat is Microsoft’s AI-powered feature of the internet that lets you get help with various tasks, such as searching the web, summarizing and creating content. A prompt-a-thon is designed to teach users how to prompt Copilot Chat to assist them in their day-to-day tasks and we teach prompt engineering because asking Copilot Chat for help is different from doing a keyword search on the internet. During the event, participants learn the anatomy of a prompt and practice creating them. Come learn how Copilot Chat allows you to change your tone, act as a persona, give step-by-step instructions, and much more.
You will learn easy-to-understand definitions of generative AI, large language models, and Microsoft Copilots and see examples of prompts that you can use right away (and every day) to help you be more efficient and productive.
