We are seeking enthusiastic Community Members to volunteer as part of ESPC, from 2nd – 5th December 2024 in Stockholm, Sweden. You’ll have the opportunity to attend sessions and build your professional network within the community.
**The 2024 Call for Volunteers will close on September 1st**
Volunteering at ESPC is an excellent way to get involved, network, and gain valuable experience. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the conference runs smoothly and efficiently.
As a volunteer, you will have access to conference sessions and activities, providing you with a chance to learn from experts in the field. The volunteer programme will be run on a rota so there will up time in your schedule to avail of these opportunities.
Assisting the tutor with the organisation and administration of the tutorial onsite. Ensure they have everything they need to run a smooth session and help with any attendee queries or challenges.
Host some community meetups in the community area, MVP takeovers, country gatherings etc. welcome community members, network, hand out country flags, mingle with delegates, hand out t-shirts etc.
Help with the setup and smooth running of community sessions, including checking on speakers’ arrival, introducing and thanking the speaker, and managing session timings.
Support speakers with their needs before, during, and after their presentations, including technical assistance and logistical support.
Assist the reporting team, including videographer and photographer on securing quality photos and interviews with attendees and speakers at the event. Offer support to the reporter’s team in the reporters booth.
Meet industry professionals, speakers, and other attendees, expanding your professional network.
Play a vital role in the success of a major community event, contributing to the growth and development of the Microsoft 365 community.

We require all volunteers to be onsite for a venue orientation. Detailed information regarding the venue orientation will be provided in advance.

We aim to confirm all volunteer roles by September 14th
Yes, we organise our volunteers in shifts so you can attend sessions before or after your shift. Some roles also involved helping speakers by introducing which means you can sit & enjoy those talks too.
All volunteers are invited to pre-event briefings online. These will take place in Late October. We will answer all questions and you will learn more about what you will be doing at the conference.
We provide food and drinks at the conference venue, as well as access to the conference talks (distributed around different shifts), but we do not cover travel and accommodation.
