Microsoft just announced SharePoint Premium, a new solution that leverages AI to transform content management and content experiences in Microsoft 365. SharePoint Premium is now in preview and will be generally available early next year.
SharePoint Premium builds on the success of SharePoint, the market leader in content platforms, and expands its capabilities to help organizations get more value from their content throughout the lifecycle.
SharePoint Premium will enable you to:
- Boost your productivity, streamline your business processes, and collaborate on various types of content with our content experiences and solutions. Keep your content up to date, make it easy to find, and use AI, security, and workflow to optimize important business documents like contracts, invoices, SOWs, and more.
- Organize your content to make the most of it with our content processing service. Use AI-driven automation to create, classify, and tag documents and prepare your content for Copilot.
- Manage the content lifecycle and prevent oversharing and content clutter with our content governance service. Control who can access your content with simple and powerful tools.
With SharePoint Premium, you also get access to services and solutions for content processing and content governance, which combine the new and existing features of Microsoft Syntex and Microsoft SharePoint Advanced Management.
