Maximize enterprise AI with open standards and interoperability using Snowflake and Microsoft

Snowflake and Microsoft have expanded their technical integrations across many workloads for years, empowering users to bring AI to life with a governed, strong data strategy and integrated data estate. In this session, Matt Marzillo, Senior Partner Sales Engineer at Snowflake, will discuss how Snowflake and Microsoft are working together to provide users with the most comprehensive data stack to put their data to work, run analytics and build AI applications.
Matt will provide an overview of the current landscape, focusing on the expansion of integrations and the most prevalent workloads where customers employ Snowflake and Microsoft. He will then dive deeper and discuss architectural patterns for AI and generative AI, and explore how to effectively use Snowflake and Microsoft with open table formats like Apache Iceberg. Finally, he’ll demonstrate the improved interoperability between Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric OneLake via Apache Iceberg. With this integration, users can leverage bi-directional data access between Snowflake and Microsoft Fabric to rely on one copy of data, cost effectively.
