The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is a sweeping set of requirements for companies within its scope to provide a range of non-financial public disclosures on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) topics. The CSRD rules will roll out in phases between 2024 and 2028, based on for example company size. But even before your organisation must comply, it is advised to look at the directive and adopt more sustainable practices.
In this session, I will explain what impact the CSRD has on organisations, how organisations can benefit from adopting stronger sustainability practices, and how Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability can support you in that journey. We will have a look at the Emissions Impact Dashboards, how these dashboards can help you track direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions, and how Microsoft calculates your carbon footprint.
We will talk about monitoring and managing your organisation’s environmental impact with Microsoft Sustainability Manager and the CSRD template that Microsoft has released in Purview Compliance Manager.
