Templating is a proven way of preparing the display of data in the application. However, it is rigid and not reusable across technologies. Microsoft created and open-sourced Adaptive Cards as the format in which developers can describe the data to be presented and then every host application can adapt the presentation to fit its own look and feel. Technologies such as Skype, Windows 10, Office and Teams use it already to get native look and feel for data, regardless of the origin.
In this session you will learn how to start with adaptive cards, how to describe and perform card actions in Microsoft applications and finally how to host adaptive cards in your own applications.
