Scale Ireland is the independent not-for-profit representative organisation for Irish tech start-up and scaling companies. It was set up in 2019 to promote, support and represent indigenous tech start-ups, and to ensure Ireland becomes a leading location for innovation and entrepreneurship. There are currently 2,200 tech start-up and scaling companies in Ireland, employing more than 50,000 people. For every one job created in a start-up, five more are created in the wider community.
