Mathias Pawlowsky focuses on enabling non-software companies, such as those in the manufacturing or utilities sectors, to make data-driven decisions in real-world operational settings. As the Head of Data Science at Planted, he works with his team on accelerating production ramp-ups, democratizing data analytics, and of course a bit of Gen AI. Previously in the energy sector, Mathias enhanced plant understanding for operators, improving maintenance and asset-backed trading insights. Mathias holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and a MSc in Robotics from ETH Zurich, Switzerland. He is passionate about leveraging data to drive innovation and efficiency in traditional industries, where data is often underutilized compared to software companies
