Hello! I am Jocelyn, a Product Manager at Microsoft for the Dataverse Team driving Security for Power Platform. I specialize in data protection and Go to Market initiatives.
Prior to this role, I worked in the Power Platform Connectors team leading ecosystem growth and ISV partnerships. I was a two-time PM intern for the summers of 2020 and 2021, brought up in the era of remote, pandemic internships. I am super passionate about “low-code, no-code” technology, and I strongly believe in its capabilities to revolutionize the modern workplace.
I was originally from Brooklyn, New York, then raised in New Jersey, and I have now relocated to the greater Seattle area where I attended college. I graduated from the University of Washington Seattle with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on energy and carbon neutrality, as well as a minor in Spanish.
With my diversity of expertise and experience, as well as my diverse background as a biracial and bilingual girl in tech, I am enthusiastic about outreach. I spent my college years serving as an engineering teacher for middle school and high school students of underrepresented minority groups because I am confident that extracurricular experiences make lasting impacts on students’ lives. I am proud to work as a mentor for other students interested software engineering because I believe that my atypical combination of education and career path can prove to others that there is no cookie-cutter route to success in the world of big tech.
