Faisal joined Microsoft in 2005 and currently leads the Data Integration product family under Azure Data, responsible for Azure Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, and Power Query. Faisal got his start with Data Integration soon after he joined Microsoft, leading the product efforts to incubate and ship Power Query as the de facto data connectivity experience in Power BI, Excel, Power Platform and Dynamics 365.

Faisal has been in a variety of engineering and business roles at Microsoft – across Developer Division, SQL Server and Business Applications. Prior to his current role, Faisal spent 4 years leading Business Applications Customer & Partner Success – responsible for scaling Dynamics 365 and Power Platform FastTrack and partner success programs.
