Brussels airport is approximately 12 kilometers (about 7.5 miles) from the center of Brussels. It is the main international airport serving the Brussels metropolitan area and is a major hub for both domestic and international flights.

Taxi or Ride-Sharing:

Taking a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber is a convenient way to reach the SQUARE Convention Centre from Brussels Airport. The journey will take around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

Train and Metro:

From Brussels Airport, take a train to Brussels Central Station. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes.
From Brussels Central Station, you can walk to the SQUARE Convention Centre, which is located within walking distance.

Take De Lijn bus 12 or 21 from the airport to the “Schuman” bus stop. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
From the “Schuman” bus stop, you can walk to the SQUARE Convention Centre, which is a short distance away.

Brussels Central Station

Getting from Brussels Central Station to the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre is relatively straightforward, as the convention center is located within walking distance from the central station. Here’s how you can do it:

Walking:

The SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Brussels Central Station.
Exit Brussels Central Station and head northwest on Rue de l’Infante Isabelle towards Rue de la Putterie.
Continue straight on Rue de l’Infante Isabelle, and you’ll reach the convention center.

Metro (Alternative Option):

If you prefer to use the metro for a shorter journey, you can take metro lines 1 or 5 from Brussels Central Station to the “Parc/Park” metro station. From the metro station, the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre is just a short walk away.

Keep in mind that the SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre is a prominent landmark in the city center, and signs or directions should be readily available to guide you there. From Brussels Central Station:
  • Head northwest on Rue de l’Infante Isabelle towards Rue de la Putterie.
  • Continue onto Rue de la Putterie.
  • Turn right onto Rue du Marché aux Herbes.
  • Continue onto Rue du Marché aux Herbes / Grasmarkt.
  • Continue onto Rue Ravenstein / Ravensteinstraat.
  • The SQUARE Brussels Convention Centre will be on your right.
Please keep in mind the following tips for driving in Brussels:
  • Brussels has a complex one-way street system, so be sure to follow signs and navigational instructions.
  • Traffic congestion is common in city centers, especially during peak hours, so plan your travel time accordingly.

The convention center does not have its own parking facilities, but there are several parking options nearby.

There are two public car parks with over 1700 parking spaces. Parking Albertine is the closest car park and is situated underneath SQUARE with direct access to the venue from the inside. Both car parks are accessible 24H and both have recharging facilities for electric cars. For direct access from the car park, please go to level -3 and follow the directions to SQUARE.
