We are seeking enthusiastic Microsoft Fabric Community Members to volunteer as part of the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference team, from September 24th to 27th, 2024, in Stockholm, Sweden. This opportunity will allow you to attend talks and expand your professional network within the European Microsoft Fabric Community.

Volunteering at the European Microsoft Fabric Community Conference is an excellent way to get involved, network, and gain valuable experience. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the conference runs smoothly and efficiently.
As a volunteer, your responsibilities will include:
Welcome and Registration: Greet attendees as they arrive, assist with the registration process, and direct attendees to where they need to be.
Session Support: Help with the setup and smooth running of community sessions, including checking on speakers’ arrival, managing session timing, and distributing materials.
Assisting Speakers: Support speakers with their needs before, during, and after their presentations, including technical assistance and logistical support. This may also include introducing them at the start of the session.
Event Setup and Breakdown: Assist with setting up the event space before the conference begins, and help with the breakdown and cleanup after the event concludes.
Networking Events: Support the organization and execution of networking events, ensuring they run seamlessly and that attendees have a great experience.
Special Session Assistance: Assist with the running and hosting of areas such as Ask The Experts, Inspire Stage, and the D&I program.
Photography, Videography, and Reporters Assistance: Assist the reporting team, including videographers and photographers, in securing quality photos and interviews with attendees and speakers at the event. Offer support to the reporters’ team in the reporters’ booth.

A: All volunteers are invited to pre-event briefings online. These will take place in early September. We will answer all questions, and you will learn more about what you will be doing at the conference.
Q: I am not from Stockholm; will accommodation be provided?
A: We provide food and drinks at the conference venue, as well as access to the conference talks (distributed around different shifts), but we do not cover travel and accommodation.
